A Historical Preview
Designed and constructed by Julius Berger for GE. Situated on an 87,000sqm of fully developed industrial campus with self-contained power generation, water systems, security, offices, and staff accomodation. It is the largest multimodal facility located in Africa.

Capacity Building
Emerald has the capacity to train 5,000 Nigerians every year for jobs in the Energy industry. This reduces the need for expatriate personnel. Thus driving growth in the Energy industry in Nigeria. And brings the country closer to self-sufficiency.
Local Manufacturing and Assembly
Emerald through import-substitution will support industrialization through local manufacturing, assembly, and service. Immediate opportunities:
- the Nigeria Solar Off-grid Electrification program,
- the National LPG Expansion Initiative, and
- the localization programs for the oil and gas sector spearheaded by the NCDMB.
Regional Technology Export Center-of-Excellence
