Our projects focus on presenting comprehensive open industry supply-chain value propositions. These value propositions currently align with the Nigerian government’s Economic Sustainability Plan (ESP). And support the government’s aspiration for economic sustainability, diversification and job creation.
We also strive to enable the realization of the government’s localization agenda. Aligning with their policies and support for localization of manufacturing, services and operations. One example is the National LPG Expansion Initiative. And another, the NCBMB oil and gas localization programs.
To deliver on our current mandate, we acquired the Emerald Industrial Company (“Emerald”). Emerald is a facility located within the Calabar Free Trade Zone (“CFTZ”) in Nigeria. It is an open industry platform capable of complex manufacturing and equipment repairs. Emerald is a world class ultra-modern service platform. It will enable the assembling, manufacturing, and maintenance of equipment.
The facility will be a one-stop supply-chain hub for the energy sector in Africa. And will be able to repair equipment and systems of other vendors and original equipment manufacturers operating in the region. Designed and constructed by Julius Berger for GE, it comprises a central 10,000 sqm heavy industrial building. It features the required site infrastructure sitting on 1,400 sqm within an 87,000 sqm land area. Emerald is the largest multimodal facility in Africa.

Manufacturing
We facilitate Import-substitution through local manufacturing, assembly and service in support of industrialization.
Job Creation
There will be over 2000 direct technical jobs and over 5000 indirect jobs through contractors and vendors serving the facility.
Training
We can provide 5000 Nigerians with Energy Industry Competency Training every year, reducing dependence on expatriate personnel.
Localized Services
We will provide localized repair and maintenance services for oil rigs, sub-sea production equipment, and various rotating equipment.
National Image
Our localized services will position Nigeria as a regional center of excellence for the development & sustainability of the African Energy industry.
